In the run up to Christmas we are celebrating the great local designers, makers and vintage sellers, whose wares adorn our pop up shop. So, It is time for yet another designer's spotlight!
Sharing the limelight today are Molly's Mum, Zalisander and Newton and the Apple.
Molly's Mum creates individual and unique textiles by combining a love of vintage/retro fabrics and quirky haberdashery embellished with free machine embroidery. Each inspired by the fun and simplicity of my children's doodles.
From Kindle cozies to scarves, brooches to house shaped cushions Molly's Mum creates an eclectic range of home wares, accessories and gifts.

Lex Watt of Zalisander Contemporary Jewellery takes inspiration from everything around her but is particularly interested in the visual aspects of growth, encrustation and the reclaiming of man made structures by nature.
Her work revolves around surface texture, which she then accents with natural gemstones from reliable sources. With her designs, Lex seeks to invoke the sense of wonder she felt as a child when reading stories of fairy-tale treasure.
