In the run up to Christmas we are celebrating the great local designers, makers and vintage sellers, whose wares adorn our pop up shop. So, It is time for yet another designer's spotlight!
Sharing the limelight today are Sam Pierpoint, Deborah Ballinger and Upsydaisy Craft.
Sam Pierpoint's fun and whimsical illustrations are inspired by Mother Nature, wildlife and travel. Sam's work often contains fusions of architectural, geometric, cultural and natural patterns to create vibrant and rich pieces. Sam handcraft's marvellous 3D creations out of a range of fine quality papers, before photographing and editing the images digitally, to create each finished piece.

Inspired by history, culture, flora and fauna and traditions, Deborah uses these themes and more to create beautifully dark, natural and traditional illustrations. Striving to keep many traditional and handmade elements within her work, Deborah uses the process of collage to begin breathing life into her pencil drawings before translating these onto textiles, stationery, gift-ware and printed matter.
