Spend the morning getting inky! and learn how to design, carve and print your own designs using the lino cut technique.
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn:
How to create a design perfect for lino print
How to transfer your drawing onto lino
How to carve a lino block, and use different techniques to create interesting patterns
How to mix inks to create your own colours
How to print your designs
How to sign and edition your prints

Bring your imagination to life in my exciting Mini Hand Puppet Making workshop! Your ticket includes a complete puppet starter kit with all the materials you need. Plus, enjoy a selection of decorating options ( wool, felt, buttons etc. ) and outfits to customize your puppet. No experience needed, Sidnee will guide you along the way. Perfect for a fun afternoon with a friend or a creative solo date!

Soy Wax Melt Workshop
Saturday 28th November / 11am - 1pm / £35pp
Enjoy a relaxed 2 hour session learning about home fragrance scents and make two boxes of soy wax melts in a scent of your choice. You will be able to get creative and decorate them with a range of botanicals such as dried flowers, citrus or herbs, making them a gorgeous gift idea for a fellow wax melt lover |(if you can bare to part with a box!)
Your finished melts will be available to collect from Handmade Nottingham from the next day, or posted to your home if preferred for a small additional fee which can be paid on the day.
Price includes
- An introduction to fragrance families and how to review them.
- A guide to the tools and materials to make wax melts.
- Everything you need to make 2 boxes of scented soy wax melts (each contains 9 melts).
- Yummy refreshments - tea/coffee and cake!
- A kraft box with a personalised label to package your melts, ideal for gifting if you choose to give them away!
