The first in a series of riso prints that Chris made exploring the variety of forms within the expansive kingdom of different fungi. This print is inspired by the Coprinus comatus, also known as the Shaggy Inkcap, which is a funny little mushroom (although I wouldn't eat it) mostly found in North America, and across Europe. One of the coolest things about this little fungi is that if you leave it to break down (which it does quickly and dramatically) it can be used as ink!
